Goals
- Submit VIS poster using 237 data
- Run information foraging paper prototype study
- Implement client/server cancer analysis tool capable of serving dynamic views
- Carry MTurk experiment from perception class as far as deemed fit
Important dates:
- June 13-25: San Francisco; working ~9-5 M-F with e-mail access
- June 27: Poster deadline
- July 13-August 5: Ghana (Volta Region, Accra, Cape Coast); limited to no e-mail access

- Import 237 data into SPSS format
- Float types of analysis past Steve G
- Read 10 papers related to information foraging
- Continue Rails tutorials
- (If appropriate) MTurk: Revise MTurk experiment experimental procedure
June 3
- Run ANOVAs and other statistical tests on 237 data
- Have quick first draft of poster submission done for 237 data (steal heavily from class product)
- Finish Rails tutorial up to Chapter 6 (http://ruby.railstutorial.org/chapters/)
- Have paper prototype hypotheses and related work section written
- (If appropriate) MTurk: Detail analysis procedure in fake methods section
June 10
- Have results section written for VIS submission
- Submit V1 of VIS poster online
- Finish Rails tutorial up to Chapter 9 (http://ruby.railstutorial.org/chapters/)
- (If appropriate) MTurk: do a final draft of experimental methods
June 14 - 25: San Francisco
- Finish Rails tutorial (http://ruby.railstutorial.org/chapters/)
- Make final VIS poster submission
