One of our collaborators in the [[Diffusion MRI|diffusion MRI project]], Mark Bastin at U. Edinburgh, wants to work on detecting and localizing tumors using DTI parameters and tractography data.  Right now we have a handful of datasets in [[DICOM]] format waiting to be processed; they have been in the queue since November 2007 and July 2008.  From an email exchange between Mark and [[dhl|David]]:

: Other than verifying that we can process the data, are there any interestingscientific questions to ask/answer with these three cases?

: Mainly, just see if you can read them and generate some images. Eventually, when we have 10 low-grade and 10 meningiomas we can start seeing whether tract parameters are different in per-tumoural brain between them.
