One of our collaborators in the diffusion MRI project, Mark Bastin at U. Edinburgh, wants to work on detecting and localizing tumors using DTI parameters and tractography data. Right now we have a handful of datasets in DICOM format waiting to be processed; they have been in the queue since November 2007 and July 2008. From an email exchange between Mark and David:

David: Other than verifying that we can process the data, are there any interestingscientific questions to ask/answer with these three cases?
Mark: Mainly, just see if you can read them and generate some images. Eventually, when we have 10 low-grade and 10 meningiomas we can start seeing whether tract parameters are different in per-tumoural brain between them.
