New page

{{stub}}

This page should eventually become a handy guide for making informative and compelling posters for presentation at conferences like Vis or ISMRM. For the time being, though, here are a couple links for visual design:

* [http://www.brown.edu/webmaster/visual_identity/files/ The official Brown University logo] --- this is only available with a Brown login. Make sure to get a Photoshop file, as the others on that page are very low-resolution.
* [[:Image:VRL logo.svg|The VRL logo]] --- this is an SVG file, which Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, and Inkscape can all open.

The VRL logo looks much better with a subtle drop shadow behind it; see for example its use in the VrlWiki logo above and to the left.
