They interrupt participants at either the best or worst moments during a task according to a model of task memory structure with the idea that it will be easier to return to the task at more memorable points. They find no differences in measures of time, only in several subjective measures of inconvenience. Even those differences are mostly between conditions with interruptions and the condition with no interruptions.
